DAVE ROSS

Dave Ross: Mandolin, guitar, and vocals.

Dave brings a large tray of musical styles to the table.

An alumnus of several bands - including Jive at Five, the legendary Lost World Stringband and countless other gigs Dave has performed on mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and voice. You might hear him play a Brazilian choro, an Irish jig, a Western swing classic, a Cajun waltz, or sing an old jazz standard, country or blues song, or just about anything else he can wrap his vocal chords around.

Recording credits include albums with Jive at five and the Lost World Stringband, plus guest

appearances on recordings of Sally Rogers, Kitty Donohoe , and others. Gigs include the Wheatland Festival, Detroit Downtown Hoedown, Girdys Folk City, the Speakeasy, and The Improv Club in New York City, Holsteins in Chicago, The Prairie Home Companion radio show, numerous other clubs, festivals, concerts, & weddings.

DREW HOWARD

Drew Howard: Vocals, Dobro, lap steel, pedal steel, and six-string guitars.

In 2010 Drew won the Detroit Music Award for Oustanding Country Instrumentalist.

Over more than 30 years Drew has picked and twanged his way through the dives and concert halls of US and Europe, playing blues, rock, folk and country with the likes of Bo Diddley, Tom Paxton, Dale Watson, John Sinclair, Greg Brown, The Derailers.

Drew has many studio credits, producing and playing on creative and commercial projects, CD's to radio and TV production, working in Chicago, Detroit, and New York. His diverse musical styles range from folk, country and blues to r&b, rock, bluegrass, klezmer and more. Drew has appeared on many CD's and commercial sessions (Budweiser, Ford, Michelin, Chevy, Pella, Farm Bureau, Churchill Downs, Ryan's Steakhouse, J's Sporting Goods, Meijer, etc.), with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Boarshead Theatre, Always Patsy and Hank Williams: Lost Highway theatre productions.

ROBERT MCCLOY

Robert McCloy: Vocals, Classical, steel string, archtop/jazz guitars. mandolin, & fiddle.

It's a cliché, but with Stringtown, Bob "returns to his roots".

A full time musician for 30 years, Robert has morphed from folk guitarist, to bluegrass mandolin player, to pop/country electric fiddler/guitarist, to solo classical/jazz instrumental guitarist.

Experience ranges from the early years of appearances at coffeehouses and folk/bluegrass festivals - to "doing time" at grimy country/rock honky tonks, to pursuing of a solo career and appearances at thousands of weddings, conventions, corporate & private events throughout the Midwest over the last 20 years.
